Mike’s First Post
This is my first post to Runningmanblog, I do not want to run outside today because it snowed this weekend and it is very sloppy out there even though it is currently 23 degrees. I am going to the YMCA at about 1:00 to run on the treadmill. My starting weight is 247. My goal weight is 205. I would also like to start lifting weights to strengthen my back (which is sore every morning) so yesterday I bought two 30 LB dumbbells so I can start to work without having to fight the crowds at the Y.
I just downloaded an iPhone app called “Lose it” which I really like and set my caloric intake at about 1950 Calories a day.
My goal is to run about 5 days a week and as long as I can keep to that, I should be able to do the CMM 1/2 marathon in April.
