Ran longer today as planned. It was really hot in the club and I was sweating like a hog! I did not feel like I ran well, but I got the run in, mostly @ 5MPH (slow). I should be able to continue to pick up my pace on the short run days though.
Took yesterday off (accidentally), but got right back on the horse today. I had a really good run, I felt great and I hit another speed record today. I plan on running longer tomorrow at lunch, since I will miss my long run on Saturday. I am completely dominating Mike!
Today’s run was everything yesterdays was not. I struggled the entire run and my course route was mostly uphill on the way out. I was slow and did not feel good the entire run, however, I did get the run done.
79 and Humid, not too much to report today, I did go walking and although it isn’t the same workout as running, at least I did get out in the nice weather for a while.
Walked about 2 1/2 miles
Nice, strong run. I felt good the whole way and sprinted out at the end. I am really starting to get back into the running. I got up right away this morning and got the run in. I am actually looking forward to continuing my morning runs and building my speed back up. With any luck, I should be able to run my fastest half-marathon in November, though my goal is to run the entire half.
Good run today. It was a bit humid, so I had to walk for a little while, but I ran farther AND faster than last Saturday. I am planning on a rest day tomorrow, then running every day next week. My domination is almost complete!
Well from running my back was very sore so today I walked about 3.0 miles at lunch, I am going to soften the treadmill deck at home and try running on that this weekend.
If I am still pounding my back I will incline it as much as I can and walk/run trying to keep my HR at around 155
73 Cloudy and Humid – Very humid – I was able to run between the thunderstorms, its really pouring out there now.
I thought it was quite funny how Ted told me about the articles to add more calories to my diet to lose weight – what a sign of desperation on his part to try that little trick on me. hahahahahah
Another very good run today. I started out @ 5.4MPH and moved all the way up to 7MPH (okay for only about a minute). I am feeling stronger everyday and I think I have established a habit! 13 pounds down, 40 to go.
