Another very good run today. I started out @ 5.4MPH and moved all the way up to 7MPH (okay for only about a minute). I am feeling stronger everyday and I think I have established a habit! 13 pounds down, 40 to go.
The administrator of this website has engaged in unsportsmanlike conduct changing the site, yes it is TED.
I walked today and yesterday around the arena past DQ to the pier then back again.
I have been doing very well on my diet, I am now comfortably down 1 belt loop. My back is still bothering me (probably stress related)
I will annihilate Ted in this contest.
PS – Are there any other fat slobs out there that want a piece of this?

I got trapped in a meeting today that caused me not to be able to run at lunch. I may update this post tonight if I get an opportunity to ride the stationary bike, however, I did want to post to note that the scale showed a two pound loss today! That makes 13 total pounds, complete domination over the non-posting Mike. I hope this is related to the additional 500 calories I added to my diet on Monday, but it seems much to soon to see any benefit from that.
UPDATE: I got the ride in late last night.

Yesterday (rest day) I did some research which indicated that I am eating far too little. I am averaging about 1900 calories and about 700 calories of exercise (net of 1200). I have bumped up my caloric intake by 500 calories, which should give me an average of 1700-1800 net calories. Hopefully that will help me lose weight and keep my energy levels up. At this moment I am letting my body reset to the new intake.
I did get a very good run in, actually managing another record with a full 3 miles in my run. My speed is nearly where it was in April, and with luck and dedication, I will be running sub-10 minute miles by September. I am still dominating Mike on exercise and weight loss, so that trend continues.
I just walked today, it was very hot, I would have ran but I had a noon meeting and planned to run at 5:00 but that never works
Not even a lunch today

Took a long bike ride while trying to find something to watch on TV. Still no weight loss, still frustrated. Tomorrow is a rest day for my legs, I did not do so well on the food yesterday, but based on my calculations, I should have lost another 2 pounds by now.

Hot day to run, manage 4.73, though I had to walk once for about a half a mile. I got the run in though and I felt pretty good after.
Good run today, it was quite humid

Good work on the Elliptical today and I treated myself to a Subway BLT for lunch. Minor cheat action tonight, as Molly and I are going out to eat, but I am going to try to be good. Still holding @ 11 pounds and still a little frustrated by it, but I am clinging to the hope that the weight will start peeling off in a week or two.

Really good run today, I was a little sore, so I ran more of a recovery run. I set the treadmill at .5 elevation and 5.0MPH and ran 27 minutes with little effort (Slow, I know, but 6 months ago, I could not run 5.0MPH for 10 minutes!). I then sprinted out the last 3 minutes, ending at 7.5MPH. I felt good and my heart rate held well. Tomorrow I plan on the elliptical, then 4.5 miles on Saturday. Still holding fast at 11 pounds of weight loss, still frustrated, and still hopeful that the weight will come off eventually.
