Ran this morning, the weather was AWESOME. I ran 4.19 miles and I could have run a lot farther. My pace sucked (12’s) but I got the run in. I plan on running outdoors only on the weekends until school is back in, then start running in the mornings (Molly and Alex have to be up anyway). I continue to walk in the evenings with the family, both Friday and Saturday evening, and I plan on walking again tonight. I hope to hit my goal weight by 1/1/10.

63 Cloudy and Humid – My legs were very sore today but since the temps were cooler today I got out and ran, strong north wind today but I only walked once.

I was on a business trip to San Francisco earlier in the week, and normally that means a pound or two added back on or, Chub-on! However, I managed to keep my eating well within check, and I even got a 30 minute run in at the hotel on Tuesday. This morning, the scale affirmed that I did the right thing, by showing me another pound of weight loss, for 11 total for the month! Domination of Mike continues.

Did not post anything yesterday, as it reflected what I did. I did not walk or run yesterday in preparation for my run this morning. (My legs were a bit sore). I managed to drag my lazy butt out of bed and run before it hit 90 degrees this morning, I will have a mini-cheat day on the food today, walk tonight, and I plan on riding the bike tomorrow. This is actually becoming a habit!

Awesome run today, another speed record, another pound lost, hitting all of caloric goals daily, not too bad. I am glad I did the elliptical yesterday, it really helped with the run today. Walking again tonight and hoping to lose one more pound this week for 10 total and only 43 to go.

Another day, another speed record! Tomorrow I am going to run slower or do the stationary bike. I ran hard the whole way and I felt okay, but I was pretty tired at the end and my legs are a bit sore. Within a week, I should be back to the same speeds I was running before the half in April! My plan is to walk tonight and then take it easy tomorrow with a slow recovery run. My weight loss stays at 8 pounds, which is not as good as I wanted, but it okay for 22 days with a 3 day vacation thrown in.

Had a great weekend vacation and still knocked another pound off the scale this morning. My legs were a bit tight from the weekend activity, but I still managed to pick the pace up a bit on my run and again I ran the fastest in a 30 minute period since the #Chub-off began. I am planning on getting back on the family walk wagon tonight as well. I notice Mike keeps trying to DQ me for not posting, while he is not losing weight AND not doing his exercise. My domination continues as my excellence in #Chub-offness continues unabated.

07/05/09 – Chub-off Day 18-20 Recap

I failed to post for 7/3 and 7/4, we went to our friends lake cabin and found we had no Internet access. I have some great news and some bad news on the #Chub-off.

The bad news:

Dinner Friday: Burgers/Dogs/Chicken on the grill with our special ranch beans
Dinner Saturday: Slow smoked BBQ’d ribs with homemade beans
Dinner Sunday: Cheese/Meat Calzone

The good news:
Friday: Road exercise bike for 32 minutes doing intervals
Saturday: Ran 3.5 miles (40ish minutes), swam at least 3 hours, walked at least 45 minutes, Jet skied for at least 1.5 hours
Sunday: Jet skied for 45 minutes.

I think I nearly out exercised what I ate, only the scale will tell. I will be on the running tomorrow. All and all, just about the best weekend vacation I have been on as it related to keeping up on my exercising.

Didn’t do shit today except eat – Had Jimmy Johns sub for lunch and went to Joe Sensors for dinner (tried to order fish but I said half rack of ribs instead)………..Dammit…………maybe i’ll do situps tonight……..No, im sure I wont, maybe I’ll watch Versus instead
